⭐️ WARNING: spoilers ahead! :) ⭐️

If you’re seeking a thrilling watch this summer, look no further than ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder.’ The new series is a small screen adaptation of the first book in the BookTok famous trilogy by esteemed author Holly Jackson and a suspenseful watch for those searching for a murder mystery kick.

The first season follows the original storyline from ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder,’ as curious and clever Pippa Fitz-Amobi (played by Emma Myers) starts to question the outcome of a murder case which took place in her small town 5 years ago. Pippa begins to reinvestigate the case after her school report brings up some glaring issues with the case’s final verdict. Those who worked on the case before Pippa determined that the murder victim (Andie Bell) was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh and that might’ve explained his sudden suicide. Pippa thinks otherwise and so she decides to work alongside Sal’s younger brother Ravi (played by Zain Iqbal) to seek real justice.

The season beautifully portrays Holly Jackson’s book and makes me crave for another two seasons which cover the other two books in the trilogy: ‘Good Girl, Bad Blood,’ and ‘As Good As Dead.’

Even if we don’t get another two seasons, it’s still well worth a watch as the season doesn’t leave us hanging.

What more, the series was filmed in Bristol and Somerset and is a great piece of British media.

If you’d like to watch the series you can watch all six episodes on BBC iPlayer or BBC 3. American viewers can also see the series on Netflix from the 1st of August!
